Overview

Hephzibah is part of the Augusta Richmond County Metropolitan area. Hephzibah was originally named Brothersville, after the Baptist High School at the center of the town. In 1870, Brothersville was renamed Hephzibah, after the wife of Hezekia in the Biblical book of Second Kings. Hephzibah is a Hebrew name meaning “my delight is in her.” Hephzibah is surrounded to the west, north and east by consolidated Augusta.

Diamond Lakes Regional Park has beautiful baseball diamonds and basketball courts. Plenty of space for any sport and camping. Being so close to Augusta, Hephzibah shares a lot of the local activities to do.
